Finesa Peja (born in 2002, from Prishtina, Kosovo), is an animator, specializing in 2D character animation. Her participation in the art field began at a young age. Murals for UNICEF, Art Workshops and other local artistic initatives are where she first found her passion for the visual arts. In 2018, With the completion of the Anibar Animation Academy program that took place in Prishtina, her interest in animation took a clearer shape. She continued her involvement in the field as a tutor in Anibar Animation Festival, where she taught kids and pre- teens stop- motion animation Finesa finished her bachelor’s studies in- LISAA – L’Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués, located in Paris, France – Animation Program, where she had the opportunity to direct her first short film “Roots”. From there, she proceeded to work as a character animator for a local animation studio in her hometown called Flammorum, where she works on short films and animated projects mainly dedicated to culture and heritage in Kosovo.

Finesa Peja was selected for a two-month internship at Tricky Women, the organizers of the festival of the same name, where she will work directly in the festival team.
