Albina Morina, born 1999 in Prishtina, Kosovo is a young architect (freelance) with a focus on monument protection.
She has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Prishtina, already worked in the Ethnological Museum, then the Regional Monument Protection Authority in the field of architectural protection and in the architecture studio “Modium Architecture Studio”.

Project
Albina, together with Vildane Maliqi, who is working at the Architekturzentrum Wien for July and August 2023, is the first scholarship holder of the Capacity Building Program for Cultural Managers from Kosovo launched by BMKOES.
The “Cultural Work Trainee Program Kosovo-Austria 2023” was launched in 2023 on the initiative and with funding of the Austrian Ministry of Culture BMKOES. For the 2nd half of the year, 6 cultural workers will have the opportunity to work at 6 selected institutions/projects.
Albina Morina has been selected for a two-month internship at the Federal Office for the Protection of Monuments, where she will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the practical work of the Office for the Protection of Monuments as well as an overview of the different areas of this leading Austrian cultural institution.
